Cosin Consulting joins Isobar Brazil Group to expand its business transformation offering
Dentsu Aegis Network today announces the acquisition of leading Brazilian consulting firm Cosin & Associados Consultoria e Serviços de Informática S.A (“Cosin Consulting”). Known as “Cosin - Linked by Isobar,” the firm will become part of the Isobar Brazil Group, aligning closely with its global ambition to help clients transform their businesses through brand commerce and the creative use of digital and technology. Isobar’s impressive strategic marketing and technology solutions, combined with Cosin Consulting’s deep business transformation expertise, will come together to form a best-in-class end-to-end offering for clients aiming to succeed in the digital economy.
Named a leader by the 2015 Forrester Wave for Digital Experience Service Providers, Isobar will build on its strong consultative practice with Cosin Consulting to further expand its digital transformation capabilities across the Americas. In addition, this acquisition will enhance Dentsu Aegis Network Brazil’s offering and ability to conceptualise, execute and measure complex business transformation projects for its clients.
Cosin Consulting was established in 2005 by entrepreneurs and brothers Arnaldo Cosin, Co-Founder, and Alessandro Cosin, Co-Founder, Partner, who built their careers in major consulting companies Accenture, IBM and CapGemini. Cosin Consulting’s services include Business Consulting, IT Consulting and Project Management for 70% of the top 25 companies in Brazil, with a deep specialism in retail. Based in São Paulo, the company now comprises around 200 experts servicing leading clients including Kroton Educational, Itaú, GPA, AB Inbev, Walmart, Bradesco and O Boticário Group.
Following the addition of Brazil-based mobile specialist “Pontomobi - Linked by Isobar” in October 2015, the acquisition of Cosin Consulting brings another powerful component to the overall Isobar offering in the country. The Isobar Brazil Group will therefore encompass a complete business transformation offering through creative (Isobar Brazil), mobile (Pontomobi - Linked by Isobar) and consulting (Cosin - Linked by Isobar) capabilities.
Post-acquisition, Alessandro Cosin will take on the role of CEO of Cosin - Linked by Isobar, while Arnaldo Cosin will assume a new advisory position.
Abel Reis, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Brazil, commented: “Cosin’s expertise and reputation in designing and deploying business transformation solutions perfectly complements Isobar’s vision for designing rich, transactional branded spaces. With the addition of Cosin Consulting, Dentsu Aegis Network Brazil is able to work with clients to both redesign their business model and brand development, as well as deliver the right strategy, implementation and execution to excel in today’s omni-channel world.”
Jean Lin, Global CEO of Isobar, said: “At Isobar, we focus on the seamless integration of transactions and experiences by managing complex and multi-channel consumer journeys; we call this Brand Commerce. In the digital economy, as points of inspiration and points of transaction come ever closer together, we’re integrating more consulting abilities into Isobar’s offering to help our clients address friction points at every consumer touchpoint. Cosin’s highly specialised experience in the consulting space perfectly positions the combined Isobar Brazil Group to scale this ambition in Brazil and Latin America.”
“Brand Commerce is about thinking of commerce not as a destination but as a path, and Isobar’s vision aligns seamlessly with ours and how we advise and work with our clients already,” said Alessandro Cosin, CEO of Cosin - Linked by Isobar. “Having worked with some of the largest companies in Brazil, we’re excited to join such an impressive framework of competencies and scale quickly to service multinational clients around the globe,” he added.
