Leading digital agency joins Dentsu Aegis Network in Turkey
25 May 2017, Turkey: Dentsu Aegis Network today announces the acquisition of SesliHarfler, a leading digital agency in Istanbul, Turkey. SesliHarfler will join Dentsu Aegis Network’s global digital agency unit in Turkey, Isobar, and will be referred to as “SesliHarfler – Linked By Isobar”.
The acquisition will scale Isobar’s creative, development and production expertise within Turkey’s dynamic and growing digital market. The union will provide the SesliHarfler team with access to Isobar’s global network across 45 markets.
Established in 2006 by Gorkem Uraz and Ozgur Karacak, SesliHarfler is a leading digital agency, delivering holistic digital marketing solutions to clients including P&G, Nestlé, Enerjisa, Mondelēz and Kent Gida. SesliHarfler is known for achieving high client satisfaction, with 45 digital experts servicing clients in the FMCG, automotive, manufacturing and banking sectors. The agency has been recognised in both local and global creative and effectiveness awards including the Effies and the Kirmizi awards.
The acquisition comes at a critical juncture for the economy and the digital industry in Turkey – with half the population under 30, 25% under 14 and digital spend increasing by 15-20% per year. The population is highly digitally engaged, with 48 million internet users (the 6th largest in Europe), 42 million Facebook users (the 7th largest market in the world) and 16 million Instagram users on a monthly basis¹.
Following the acquisition, SesliHarfler’s Özgür Karacak, Founder and CEO, and Görkem Uraz, Founder and Chairman, will lead the entire Isobar offering in the Turkish market.
