Dentsu Builds Strong Business Momentum With Multiple Wins in Singapore

Singapore – Dentsu International (dentsu) is pleased to announce that it has secured several partnerships as it continues to build its business momentum in Singapore. Reflecting a sustained demand for its integrated capabilities and solutions across creative, media, data, and tech, the wins include a new appointment by Singapore-based fintech start-up, Hoolah, and will see it continue its relationships with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, among others.
Commenting on the network’s growth trajectory in Singapore, dentsu Singapore CEO, Prakash Kamdar, said, “We have been both consistent and persistent in our business approach within the market since 2019. Dentsu’s Creative, CRM, and Media groups in Singapore will lead each of the accounts in varying scopes whilst bringing holistic business solutions from across the group.
New appointments
Singapore-based fintech start-up, Hoolah, has appointed dentsu to accelerate its commerce capabilities. Under the appointment, Isobar, part of network’s Creative group, will focus on building a Salesforce cartridge to enhance Hoolah’s payment solution, which helps consumers Buy Now and Pay Later over 3 interest-free installments.
Hoolah’s Founder and CEO, Stuart Thornton, said, “Isobar is a Salesforce Platinum partner with rich Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementation and Salesforce cartridge development experiences. Apart from it being a strong e-commerce partner for many top consumer brands, we also appreciate that dentsu has a strong presence in APAC and expertise in multi-country implementations.”
In separate appointments, Isobar is also extending its work with Panasonic through a new regional platform roll-out across nine markets in APAC for its customer service unit while dentsu’s CRM group, led by its global creative B2B agency, gyro, has welcomed global network infrastructure provider, CommScope as a new client.
Extended partnerships
Dentsu has also secured a number of renewals with Gyro being awarded a sizeable projects by B2B clients, Mastercard, Magento Commerce and Marketo Engage, and its CRM group, led by its award-winning digital marketing agency, Happy Marketer, a Merkle company, retaining two local partnerships with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
Regionally, dentsu has also recently announced that its Media agencies, Carat and iProspect, have taken on an expanded scope with Philips’ consumer electronics business in the APAC region following a competitive pitch. Based out of Singapore, the appointment will focus on developing an integrated performance and commerce hub.
